A local remodeler, not a call center.

How Reed works

Every job starts in the room itself. Reed would rather spend twenty minutes looking at the space, checking what is under the sink and asking how you actually use it than hand you a number over the phone. The estimate that follows is written, itemized and specific to your house, so you can compare it fairly with anyone else's.

During the job, the same person who wrote the estimate is the one running the work. Changes get talked through and put in writing before they happen. Surprises behind the walls, like rotted subfloor or old wiring, get shown to you with a fix and a price, not discovered on the invoice.

What we take on

Bathrooms, basements and kitchens, plus the carpentry, flooring, drywall and finish work that comes with them. Reed's crew has also done whole-house rehabs and rental turnovers, so older homes with a few decades of quick fixes do not scare us.

What we do not do: anything we cannot do well. If your project needs a specialist, like a structural engineer for a beam or a roofer, we will tell you and help you find one.

Where we work

Joliet and the nearby towns, listed on the service area page. Staying close means being on site every day and being easy to reach after the job is done.

A note on the photos

The room photos on this site are design renderings that show the kind of finished spaces we build. They are not pictures of client homes. Ask Reed about recent jobs when you talk.
